EFAPalm/PDA
mdv has an additional product for PDA and Palm owners. EFA PALM. EFA PALM makes it possible to calculate timetables and departure boards on the Internet and store them on a PDA/Palm. These journeys and departure boards are then valid for the entire timetable period, giving the user access to up-to-date information at all times.
Departure board calculations are started on the Internet. The user can select the stop and limit the selection to certain routes if required. A file is then generated and sent to the user by email. The user transfers the file to his PDA/Palm and can now access the information. All that is now required to display the information is to install EFA PALM itself - links for this purpose can be found on the home page of the travel authority and in the e-mail that is received from the server. Timetables are calculated in a similar way. The user can specify the departure point and the destination and restrict the travel time if required. The journey that is calculated is sent to the user by e-mail and must then be transferred to the PDA/Palm. Once the calculated departure boards and journeys have been stored on the PDA/Palm, they can be accessed by the user offline at any time.
