DIVA tabular timetable
DIVA tabular timetable is used to construct timetables in tabular format. It has been specially developed for the needs and requirements of users associated with transport authorities. However, smaller and more rurally oriented users will also achieve excellent planning results with DIVA tabular timetable. Its intuitive user interface design provides effective timetable scheduling, ease of use and rapid introduction times.
DIVA tabular timetable includes the following functions:
- Timetable management
- Transfer analysis
- Mixed routes
- Data management and provision for publication products.
Timetable management
Timetables are managed in tables in the DIVA tabular timetable system. This system makes it possible to define the routing, travel time types, trips, special services and so on for a route.
The system supports all of the relevant editing functions such as insertion, modification and deletion, either individually or sequentially. It is a simple matter to create services with regular intervals, for example, by defining trip time types. Trip time types cover routes, stop times and the route section that has been travelled, and appear in the route column. Of course, individual trips can also be quickly and efficiently edited in the tabular view itself. The resulting trip time types are generated by the program automatically.
Transfer analysis
Passengers are provided with the most efficient transfers by means of transfer management and analysis. The comprehensive analysis procedure in DIVA tabular timetable is designed such that manual entries made by the user are restricted to a few items such as selecting the transfer point and the transfer routes. All other information that is required is usually provided from other files and updated automatically.
Mixed routes
Several routes can be combined to form mixed routes in DIVA tabular timetable. Mixed routes are frequently created if different routes have common sections and a separate timetable for the common route is to be displayed to the passenger as additional information. A mixed route is dealt with like any other route in the DIVA typesetting system.
Mixed routes are updated automatically on the basis of the original routes. Changes to trip times and trip time types can only be made for the original routes.
Data management and provision for publication products
The DIVA tabular timetable system manages and provides route-specific information for DIVA typesetting, DIVA poster timetable and IJP electronic journey planner publications.
