DIVA is also a data acquisition system. Large authorities usually receive their data from many operators and also from railway companies. DIVA can process any kinds of timetable. DIVA has interfaces to all known data formats and can import data. DIVA can export data in standard formats.
Example of large data pools are:
- VGN (Transport Authority of Nuremberg) authority data
- VRR (Transport Authority of Rhine-Ruhr region) with a data pool of 22 operators
- All Baden-Wuerttemberg timetables
