MapServer
All map products (network route maps, route option maps, city map sections) are created with DIVAMapServer. The program reads GIS data and combines them with the required DIVA data, like stops or route sections, which it obtains from the common data server. DivaMapServer processes requests from client programs. The requests are submitted in XML format via the DivaMapServer http interface. All client programs (DIVAGeo, MapRequester and the EFA system) use the same request format. DIVAMapServer creates a PDF result file which is then sent back to the client program via http response.
DIVAGeo
The creation and administration of several map products (i. e. detailed map sections) is integrated in DIVAGeo.
City map sections and network route maps can be created automatically via a graphical user interface. The area visible in the map window can be enlarged, minimized or scrolled. It is also possible to define an exact scale value for the desired map.
