South West England to rely on DIVA and EFA
Traveline Region South West will be using mdv software to power their public transport planning and journey planner. That was the decision made by South West Public Transport Information (SWPTI) in June 2010. The South West Region is made up of 15 counties and unitary authorities, and includes the famous cities of Bristol, Plymouth and Southampton. South West, with its 4.9 million inhabitants, borders directly on the Traveline South East Region, which includes London. These regions, in turn, are bordered to the north and west by Traveline regions East Anglia and East Midlands, also DIVA and EFA users, to form a complete block of EFA in the south of England.
