Great Interest for DIVA 4 in Switzerland
On September 2nd, DIVA users met in Zürich to gain more information about DIVA 4. The number of participants (40) was an early indicator of the large amount of interest in the new DIVA system. René Aeberhard (manager of the timetable office for the VBZ) began the day with news that the ZVV would be starting with the migration to DIVA 4 in the next few months. The presentations - especially of the DIVA 4 System - were met with enthusiasm and interest. The DIVA Web presentation and that of the new tabular timetable also demonstrated that we are on the right path regarding the development of new interfaces and functionalities. In side discussions it became clear that the full integration of cartography is particularly being valued as a major step forward. We are pleased to see the amount of interest Swiss DIVA users have shown in DIVA 4 development. Many thanks to the VBZ for organizing the event.
