Quality Management
In Accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001:2000 mdv established a quality management system which was certified successfully in July 2005 by the TÜV Rhineland Group.
The reasons for the adoption of QM included:
- The documentation of operational and business processes for the customers
- The necessary documentation as a result of the continual growth in company size
- The internationalisation of our clientele
- The QM system as a requirement for national and international tenders
By taking this step QM mdv expects further quality improvements of products and processes. Quality does not just mean the checking of the correctness of products after the development process: It also means the improvement of the operational processes to reach more customer satisfaction as a result of a decrease in program errors and improved adherence to delivery dates.
An early integration of tests in development processes is an important factor in meeting the highest quality demands. It saves costs and nerves if mistakes are discovered and corrected in the requirements analysis, product design and system architecture phases.
To comprehensively test a large amount at any time and to compare the results with each other, automated tests are used by mdv. With the complex and highly-dynamic systems developed by mdv, this process is essential.
mdv underwent an external follow-up audit on 01.07.2008. Our company was successfully certified for another 3 years.
